Viewers of the ITV2 show have seen Lauren and Chloe fall out after Lauren discovered Chloe had been secretly dating co-star Mario Falcone for a month before they called it quits.
Lauren had previously shared a drunken kiss with Mario but was also upset about the fact she'd been left out of the loop, although Chloe and Mario had explained it was because they wanted Chloe's brother Charlie Sims – Mario's best friend – to be the first to know.
What a tangled web.
And on last night's episode, it got slightly more tangled when Lauren accused Mario of seeing his ex-girlfriend and another girl while dating Chloe. Mario admitted to meeting up for a day with his ex but denied having a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship with the other girl - and pointed out he and Chloe were never exclusive.
But while Mario and Chloe have ended their secret romance now, Chloe has admitted she still has feelings for him that she's hoping will die down soon.
Chatting to the TOWIE official website after the show, Lauren said: "I know they keep saying they wanted to protect Charlie but I suspect Mario's true intentions for keeping it secret was because there are so many other girls out there who he is seeing."
Viewers of last night's episode saw Mario telling Lauren he didn't have to discuss his love life with her, after she suggested he hadn't treated Chloe well.
"With everything that's gone on, I'm past caring now," added Lauren. "All I can judge him on is his past experiences and they haven't ended well for the girls. I know I'm not talking to Chloe at the moment but I'd never want to see her get hurt by a guy at all."
Mario, however, countered Lauren's accusations via Twitter while the episode aired.
"Oh no a single guy talking to more than 1 girl .... Didn't realise that was against the law! (sic)" he tweeted, shortly followed by: "And yes... I was talking to my ex... Can't help what the heart wants x."
