Dad-of-four David travelled over 5,000 miles from London to South America to experience life in the tropical rainforest, which has been filmed for a one-off 90 minute documentary to air on BBC One.
Retired footballer David, who is also set to star in a Sport Relief special of Only Fools and Horses this week, went to encounter the other side of Brazil with three of his friends.
The documentary will show David and his friends cooking, camping and fishing during their journey to discover the "real Brazil", with world renowned Director Anthony Mandler capturing their exploits on film.
Helen Jackson, managing director of BBC Worldwide said: "This is an unforgettable documentary set in the heart of the dense Amazon rainforest following David Beckham. Through his eyes, audiences will experience life in the jungle, something so distant from David's life on and off the pitch and in the glare of the world's media."
David Beckham's documentary is due to air on BBC One in June.
