Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe, 29, is notoriously protective of her siblings, so it's no surprise she told Australian radio station 2DayFM it's been "crazy" watching the youngsters growing up in the public eye with an increasing interest in what they do.
But despite their huge fame and, in model Kendall's case, success, she insisted the pair weren't affected by Hollywood.
"They've had a massive transformation [since they first appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and they handle it really well," said Khloe.
"They have a good head on their shoulders. They're good girls and they don't take themselves too seriously either, which you can't in this industry or you'd go crazy. You have to laugh at yourself."
She added of 16-year-old Kylie and 18-year-old Kendall: "I do think they're well guided. I will say I have been protective and want people to leave them alone a little bit but it's also not fair to ask because we put ourselves on TV.
"We know what we're getting into when we sign up for reality TV."
Khloe said that having the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan become household names had been a "blessing" in a way, as it meant they were able to cope with the highs and lows of fame together.
"It's easy to get lost in all this and believe the hype and have all these yes men around you, but because we're all doing it together, it's a really rare scenario. Most families aren't all in the public eye as we are. It works as a blessing and it's in our favour."
