Kim Kardashian's weight loss secret: Atkins Diet, five weekly workouts

Kim Kardashian has said she works out five times a week and follows the Atkins Diet in order to maintain her famous figure.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star gave birth to her first child, daughter North West, in June 2013, and has made no secret of the fact she's found losing the baby weight challenging.

Chatting with fans via Mobio INsider on Monday (17 March), she revealed: "I did the Atkins Diet. I actually saw I gained some weight back when I saw pics of myself and started it again. Had to check myself.

"I work out five times a week and try to eat as healthy as possible."

We frequently see pictures of Kim in her workout gear leaving the gym so it doesn't surprise us to hear she has such a gruelling schedule.

Kim, 33, previously slammed tabloid reports that she'd resorted to surgery in a bid to regain her pre-baby figure, insisting it was just down to a mix of exercise and nutritious eating.

"I still have weight to lose. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight (especially the last bit of weight) & your body totally changes!" she said in February. "Making fun of me pregnant & making fun of me trying to lose weight now shame on you.

"I'm not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I've lost a lot so far & I'm proud of that! (sic)"

As well as chatting about weight loss last night, Kim also opened up about which famous sister she hangs with the most. Controversial! But, there is a good reason for it.

"Right now Kendall. It changes every so often, depending on what's going on in our lives but I live with Kendall, we hang out every day!"
