Mother-of-two Sarah wowed in a simple black dress at the Television Academy's 23rd Annual Hall of Fame event in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (11 March).
It's hard to believe then that we first fell in love with her a whopping 17 years ago when she landed the role of Buffy Summers in the vampire slaying TV show.
Sarah marked the occasion via Twitter on 10 March, writing: "17 years ago today I became #Buffy. Thank you and happy 17th anniversary Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Keep Slaying!"
Her tweet received numerous responses from people commenting that the 17 years reference made them feel a bit old. (Including us.)
Buffy ran for seven series until 2003 and spawned the spinoff show Angel, starring David Boreanaz. (Buffy and Angel forever, we say.) The story is continuing in a comic book series at the minute.
Sarah recently caught up with former Buffy co-stars Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn Summers) and Seth Green (Oz), when they dropped by the set of her current show Crazy Ones. Co-starring Robin Williams, the comedy series is set within the advertising world.
