Hours after completing his Sport Relief climb of Machu Picchu yesterday (11 March), Kirk had headed to the airport and was already making the long journey home.
But after jetting to Lima to catch a connecting flight to the UK, Kirk shared a selfie with fans on Twitter and admitted to his woes.
Alongside the photograph, Kirk said: "Trying to keep a smile whilst the airport, have lost my bag and a boo boo on my finger!"
Former TOWIE star Kirk flew to Peru on 2 March and spent a week trailing Machu Picchu, which is a 15th century Inca site located in the South American country.
It wasn't easy though and, as his body attempted to adapt to the altitude, Kirk admitted that he was finding it difficult to breathe.
Along the way, Kirk kept fans updated on Twitter by sharing pictures of himself meeting local people and animals - and of the incredible landscapes he encountered.
Kirk has so far raised almost £2,000 for Sport Relief and the ADHD Foundation which, as a sufferer, is a charity close to his heart.
After reaching the summit yesterday, Kirk admitted it was the "hardest thing" he had ever done but added: "It was worth every step!"
He has since shared a new collage of snaps, which show him with a donkey and posing with walking poles. Not long now, Kirk, and you'll be back in your own Essex bed!
