This unexpected change to the tour line-up is a result of an incident that recently occurred backstage involving father-of-one Kazeem.
Band members Joey James and Sterling Ramsey will now have to go it alone for the rest of the UK shows.
However, the three London R&B stars are still very much a trio and intend to carry on recording their upcoming album together, as originally planned.
A representative told Reveal: "Following an incident backstage, Rough Copy member Kazeem Ajobe has left the X Factor tour. The remaining Rough Copy members Sterling and Joey will continue to perform on the tour as a duo."
"But to confirm the band are still very much together and plan to continue to work with Epic after the tour."
It has been reported that X Factor judge, and Rough Copy's former mentor, Gary Barlow kicked Kazeem off the tour for bad behaviour, though this claim has now been dismissed.
The rep added: "Gary had nothing to do with it."
Last year, returning hopefuls Rough Copy managed to make it to the semi-final of The X Factor. But their journey on the popular ITV show was far from smooth.
Due to issues with his visa, Kazeem was unable to travel to New York for the judges' house stage of the contest, leaving Joey and Sterling with the difficult task of representing the group and auditioning for Gary on their own.
But the twosome proved that they can still put on a good performance without their third bandmate - something which they will unfortunately have to do again now.
Also appearing on tour with Rough Copy this year are X Factor stars including Tamera Foster, Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend.
