The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the sunsoaked paradise island via a British Airways flight from London on Thursday (6 March), according to reports.
They left their baby son, Prince George, with Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton back home, meaning this is an adults only vacation.
For lucky Kate, it's her second sunshine holiday since the New Year as she already enjoyed a trip to the Caribbean retreat of Mustique in January.
On the trip to Mustique she brought baby George, marking his first overseas journey. They stayed with members of her family.
This time, it's said Wills and Kate are staying in a luxury five-star resort, the Cheval Blanc Randheli Hotel , which has been closed to the public especially to accommodate them. And presumably the Scotland Yard detectives who have accompanied them there.
They'll get another dose of sunshine next month when they embark on a three-week official tour of Australia and New Zealand alongside their baby son.
The Duchess has never visited either country, so this is a chance for her to meet the people of New Zealand and Australia for the first time," said the couple's private secretary, according to Us Weekly. "The Duke last visited New Zealand in March 2011, shortly after the devastating earthquake in Christchurch. During the same visit, he also went to Victoria and Queensland in Australia, which had been very badly affected by natural disasters.
"So, for the couple, this visit represents a wonderful opportunity on the one hand for The Duke to deepen his personal relationship with, and admiration for, New Zealand and Australia; and on the other, for the Duchess to experience some of the extraordinary warmth and hospitality for which the people of both countries are renowned the world over."
William, Kate and Prince George will arrive in Australia on 7 April, along with an entourage of around eleven people.
Their itinerary will include a yacht race in New Zealand, visits to a rugby stadium and a vineyard, and sightseeing in Sydney, Queensland, Adelaide and Canberra.
