Power of Love is described as a "triumphant soundtrack of a woman who dares to keep on dreaming".

The two original songs on the album are 'Treasure' and 'Compass', but every song has a story, and Sam's relationship with her late father is echoed in Supertramp's classic, 'Lord Is It Mine'.

There are also two collaborations: Her triumphant duet of 'And I Am Telling You' with Nicole Scherzinger, which they sang during the X Factor final, as welll as Sam's rendition of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' with Michael Bolton, which they performed at the National Television Awards in January.

Sam, who performed 'And I'm Telling You' at her Birmingham date support slot with Beyoncé last week, is currently on the road for 'The X Factor Live Tour' which will wrap up on 29 March.

Sam has also recently announced a string of tour dates for next year. 'The Power Of Love Tour 2015' will be Sam's first solo headline tour and will see her perform across the UK in January and February.

From winning the show in December last year, to getting a Christmas number one with 'Skyscraper' and performing with her idol Michael, it's been a whirlwind couple of months for Sam.

"I've been performing since I was 15 but I never got to where I wanted to be," said the former prison officer. "Then real life, needing to pay bills, marriage and children happened and you just put everything on hold. X Factor gave a woman like me a chance. It gave me my confidence back, it gave me music back, and this is for all those people out there who believed in me!"

The Power of Love is due for release on 24 March.
