The reality star headed to Mick Norcross' Sugar Hut nightclub to film the advert on the DJ decks, and looked gleefully happy as he was joined by a girl on each side of him.
This week it was announced that Joey signed a deal with Warner Music to release his own album.
While the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star won't be singing on it, he will be putting together a compilation of dance floor hits.
"I'm really excited about this record deal," said former club promoter Joey. "It's amazing to be making the ultimate dance album based on the tunes we play at Sugar Hut."
Essex Anthems will be a triple CD compilation of current and classic dance floor hits. The album will be released to coincide with Joey's new TV show, Educating Joey Essex.
"Me and the label have spent loads of time choosing the tracks, mixing up new hits with classic dance floor bangers," he continued.
While filming on Thursday (27 February), Joey bumped into his TOWIE co-stars Mario Falcone and cousin Charlie Sims. He said: "Filming my JOEY ESSEX 'ESSEX Anthems' CD and have bumped into @charlessims_ & @Mario_Falcone #CatchingUP."
On Wednesday (26 February), Joey unveiled the album cover to fans on Twitter, saying: "OMG well excited Just got a copy of my album out on 17th Mar. What do u think?"
It's been a pretty hectic week for Joey, who enlisted the help of Phillip Schofield to provide the voiceover for Educating Joey Essex.
Joey, who is taking a break from TOWIE to focus on his new show, spent last month in Africa filming the trip, which will see him explore African wildlife, culture and geography.
