The former TOWIE star, 27, proposed to 26-year-old Michelle in January last year and the couple are hoping to get married in 2015.
Mark has now described the Coronation Street star as his "best friend" and said he knew he had to propose after spending three months abroad filming his new TV show, Party Wright Around The World.
Speaking to The Mirror, Mark added: "I've got now, for the first time in my life, what I've always wanted and what every boy dreams of - affection in a relationship, love, best friend, a girl I fancy… everything rolled into one."
Prior to his romance with Michelle, Mark dated his TOWIE co-star Lauren Goodger for 10 years, however their relationship was a rocky one. The pair split for good in 2011 and Mark remained single until meeting Michelle at the end of 2012.
The couple had their first kiss in Dubai and Mark took Michelle back to the Middle East to propose to her in August last year.
Yesterday, Mark revealed he and Michelle had taken another step in their relationship by buying a house together in Essex.
Soap star Michelle is set to leave Coronation Street soon, meaning she can move down from Manchester and be with Mark permanently.
During an appearance on ITV1's This Morning, Mark said: "We have to leave each other all the time [right now] and we do miss each other.
"It's depressing until we get back together. When she finally comes down for good I won't have to go through that again."
