Sam's musical hero Michael Bolton will also feature on the album, as the pair recorded a studio version of Motown classic 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' last month - the same song which Sam and Michael performed at the National Television Awards.

Mother-of-two Sam is currently on The X Factor tour with her former contestants, performing in arenas around the UK and Ireland.

Former prison officer Sam took centre stage on the opening night in Belfast on Saturday (15 February), as she showed off her powerhouse vocals alongside Nicholas McDonald and Tamera Foster.

Michael Bolton features on Sam's debut album.

Speaking exclusively to Reveal this month about Michael's collaboration on the album, Sam said: "He turned up while I was singing in the booth. I was nervous but he was standing in the control bit and he was so blown away at my vocals.

"He's so easy to work with and he knows so much about the business," Sam continued. "He's just a gentlemen, so I'm very lucky to have had that opportunity with him."

Sam is already used to chart success having achieved a Christmas number one last year with her debut single, 'Skyscraper'.
