Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has said it's been an "emotional challenge" returning to work following the birth of her baby daughter four months ago.

Mis-Teeq star Alesha, who welcomed daughter Azura Sienna in October with long-time dancer boyfriend Azuka Ononye, returned to work last month to kick off auditions for the new series of the ITV talent show.

Speaking to Reveal at the Britain's Got Talent auditions in London, Alesha says: "I've got a lot of respect for mums and dads because when you go back to work after having a baby, it's an emotional challenge.

"It's a blessing to go to work, but at the same time it's like your heart you know. It's new and you have to learn to adjust to it, so I'm kind of in that mode at the moment.

"I leave the house and I'm sad to say goodbye to her. I get to work and I have a great time and then I go back home to her. So it's a win-win for me."

The 35-year-old 'Knockdown' singer also says that Azura has yet to meet all of the judges, even though she's been been along to some of the auditions.

"She came on the tour with us, so she's been to Cardiff, Manchester and Birmingham and she enjoyed it," Alesha continues. "But she hasn't met everyone yet so I might bring her along to another one soon."

Speaking about reuniting with the judges for another fun-filled series, Alesha adds: "With all the baby talk in the air, there's been a new dynamic.

"It's all bonkers as usual and every time we come back it's like we turn into school kids again. We just have fun and we get on so well."
