The 60-year-old comedian formed a noticeably close bond with Dappy in the CBB house earlier this year and the rap star even said Jim had become a father figure to him.
Speaking about his relationship with the N-Dubz rapper this morning on ITV's Lorraine, Jim said: "I love Dappy, you fall in love with him and you never change your mind, he's lovely.
"I had to look after him a bit because he's up and down… so I was just looking after him making sure he ate properly and all the rest of it."
Following his exit from the CBB house last month, Dappy opened up about his admiration for Jim and compared him to his late father Byron, who passed away in 2007.
Dappy explained: "I haven't grieved the loss of my dad so [Jim] taught me such a lot in such a short space of time."
During his time on Lorraine earlier today, Jim also touched on his turbulent relationship with former housemate Linda Nolan, who he was seen butting heads with constantly on the Channel 5 show.
"Linda is a lovely lady, she just had issues with me and I couldn't get to the bottom of what they were," he said. "I still haven't really, but Linda and I will remain friends… Some people are cats, some people are dogs."
Following a rocky 2013, Jim was crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother on 29 January, beating off stiff competition from Dappy, Luisa Zissman, Casey Batchelor, Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers in the final.
