Yesterday (7 February), the Coronation Street star accompanied her daughter Emilie Cunnliffe when she attended the BGT auditions in Manchester.
Proving that having a famous mum can't always pull strings, Emilie joined the long queue of other wannabes hoping to impress judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell.
Emilie's brother David and Kym's Corrie pal Alison King also stood for hours on the cold February day outside the Lowry Theatre. It is believed that Emily sang for the judges.
Before the audition, Kym - who herself became famous after being discovered on Popstars - tweeted: "Wishing my baby all the luck in the world today! Too proud of you emz." While her daughter Emilie wrote: "Just want to say that it was my choice to do bgt and my mum as my parent will support me with my choices in life, thanks mummy."
After a day of waiting around in the cold, 37-year-old Kym treated herself to a night on the tiles and put on a gorgeous black dress for the JD Diamond Charity Ball hosted by JD Sports at the Hilton Hotel Manchester.
The clinging black floor-length number with diamante back straps showed off Kym's enviable figure and her new butterfly tattoo just above her bum.
On hand to help mum-of-three Kym have a fab night out were fellow Corrie stars Antony Cotton, Samia Ghadie and Catherine Tyldesley who were also in attendance at the event held in support of The Christie Charitable Fund.
Kym recently changed her name from Kym Lomas back to Marsh, after divorcing EastEnders star Jamie Lomas, father to her youngest child Polly, two.
Britain's Got Talent launches on ITV1 later this year.
