Last night, pop fans watched as Girl Thing spoke about how their 'make or break' third single, 'Pure and Simple', ended up being a No 1 hit for Popstars band Hear'Say.
Although record bosses have denied it, band member Linzi Martin told Big Reunion viewers that the backing vocals on Hear'Say's version were recorded by her - and it seems Myleene Klass agrees.
Myleene - who was in Hear'Say with Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan - has now waded into the row, seemingly to back up Linzi's claims.
I KNEW we never sang the backing vocals! #BigReunion— Myleene Klass (@KlassMyleene) February 6, 2014
Last night, Myleene tweeted: "I KNEW we never sang the backing vocals! #BigReunion."
During the show, Girl Thing spoke about how gutted they were to learn 'Pure and Simple' had been given to a rival pop band when they were pinning all their hopes on it.
Linzi said: "I wrote the verses and got no acknowledgment for it whatsoever. The backing vocals on Hear'Say's record is me singing."
Meanwhile, following The Big Reunion, Jodi Albert thanked fans for the positive support for Girl Thing.
