The doting new dad looked in high spirits as he arrived at ITV studios on Tuesday (4 February) ahead of an appearance on Daybreak to talk about his new song 'Kid', which features in the upcoming animated film.
Of course, while there to chat about the movie, he couldn't resist gushing about the two special ladies in his life, describing Amelia's birth as "just an incredible experience."
Peter has already spoken about the panic that set in ahead of Amelia's birth, but he explained it again on Daybreak: "We drove from home to Taunton which was three and a half or four hour drive. Before we left the house she wasn't in labour, half way there she was in labour.
"That morning she woke up and said, 'Something is happening.' I said, 'Shall we go to the hospital?' 'No, no, let's drive home, it could take 96 hours, it will be a long process.' By the time we got half way the contractions started and I thought, 'She'll give birth in the car!'
Thankfully, she didn't, and little Amelia Andre was born 7 January at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.
Peter and Emily took around three weeks to decide on their daughter's name, with Pete saying: "We thought of a name at last, we've finally come up with the name! It's very nice, it ended up being out of Isabella and Amelia and we all sat together [with the kids] and we all decided."
Shortly after the birth, Peter and Emily revealed they'd secretly become engaged over Christmas. So far, there are no firm wedding plans although Peter says they won't tie the knot for a couple of years yet and when they do they'll have two separate ceremonies to reflect both their cultures.
"We're going to do it special," he explained. "A traditional English and traditional Greek, two separate ones. In Cyprus they have an interesting way of getting married. They close the village, everyone is invited, there is food in the street, it's just a big giant party."
Everything in Peter's world seems pretty incredible right now. As well as celebrating an engagement and new baby, he's teamed up with Dreamworks to provide a song for animated movie Mr Peabody and Sherman, which features the voice of Modern Family star Ty Burrell.
Peter, 40, was seen at the premiere of the film at the weekend alongside children Junior, eight, and Princess, six, who he says loved the movie.
He's also still working on 60 Minute Makeover, telling Daybreak the show now airs in Australia so his mum and dad are able to watch it.
