Sam Faiers continues to battle a mystery illness, that has left her "frail" with "bones sticking out" according to her worried mum.

Yesterday, TOWIE and CBB star Sam revealed she was still in hospital after posting a picture of herself hooked to an IV drip.

And today (2 February), it has been reported that she was taken to hospital after collapsing at a Harley Street clinic.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Sam became feverish and passed out when she attended a clinic on Friday for blood tests.

After being rushed to hospital, Sam is now being looked after by staff trying to discover the cause of her agonising stomach problems - which are said to have resulted in the star losing a stone and a half in weight.

Sam's mum Suzanne Wells, 43, told the newspaper: "I've been so worried about Sam and have not seen her this ill before. All her bones are sticking out and she's very frail. I knew she wasn't right in the CBB house and she's lost so much weight.

"I've been with her the whole time and she's told me she's in a lot of pain but we're hoping to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible."

Sam came fifth in the live CBB final last Wednesday, despite being ill throughout her time in the house and being admitted to hospital twice during the show's run.

After leaving the house, Sam spoke publicly for the first time about her ongoing illness.

She said: "My experience compared to everybody else was so different and I'm absolutely gutted.

"For two weeks I couldn't hold food down whatsoever, and I still haven't had my results back from the hospital and I was in and out of hospital while I was in there as well. I went in there twice for blood tests and scans and it was really serious."

Get well soon, Sam.
