Reality TV star Peter, who welcomed a baby girl with his fiancée Emily MacDonagh on 7 January, wrote 'Kid' for new comedy adventure animation, Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
The song, which features as the end credit track for the film, is about being a parent. Dad-of-three Peter explained: "'Kid' is a song about the adventure of being a dad, the mischief, the fun, the exhausting joy of what kids bring, and it's very up-tempo to match."
In the photos, 40-year-old Peter looks smart in a black suit, crisp white shirt and red bow tie with matching red shoes.
"I saw an early cut of the film and loved it," said Peter. "It's a must-see for the entire family. It is great to be working on something that I can see with my children and I am so excited about this partnership."
Ian Morton, vice president of international promotions at Twentieth Century Fox, added: "Peter was the natural fit for the film and it is great to see that the film has inspired such a great song."
It's been a good month for the singer, as in addition to welcoming his baby daughter, Peter also announced his engagement to trainee doctor Emily at the start of this week.
After confirming the news, Peter tweeted: "We are so grateful to everyone for their lovely comments. Thank you all very much. We are so happy right now!"
Peter Andre's new song 'Kid' is the UK's official track for the new DreamWorks Animation Mr. Peabody and Sherman, in cinemas from February 7th.
