Blue star Lee was evicted from the house on Sunday night and he has now admitted that the negative reaction has made him feel like an animal killer.
Appearing on This Morning today, Lee described his behaviour in the CBB house as a "pickle" and said the response he has got is "over the top".
Lee said: "It's got a little too much for me... I'm not going to lie. It's like... I feel like I've murdered someone. I feel like I've done something to small kittens or small dogs or something.
"I did go in there as a single man, I wasn't married or anything. Yeah, I did get myself in a pickle, and yeah it came across really bad and I understand that, but the treatment I'm getting, I think it's way over the top if I'm honest."
Last night, Lee replied to a follower on Twitter who had sent him a message saying, "Haaa gayyyyyyyy".
Lee shot back: "Really? Grow up. This is ridiculous. I don't give a f***, this abuse is too much."
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Lee's management are keen to draft in a bodyguard to protect the pop star. This comes after Lee revealed he had been the victim of death threats.
Lee's rep told Mail Online: "Whilst Lee has expressed to his team and others that he does not feel security is necessary, management is monitoring the situation at the moment and is taking threats sent to him very seriously. Lee has been subject to some outrageous threats online and our job is to protect him from harm."
