TOWIE's Joey Essex breathed a sigh of relief yesterday after finding I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here's National Television Award, which he claimed to have lost.

The reality star said he was "sweating" at the thought of losing the gong, which was awarded to the show for 'Best Entertainment Programme' during the ceremony on Wednesday night (22 January).

Joey left with the award on Wednesday night but couldn't find it in the morning

But luckily for Joey, it was found safe last night... Phew!

Joey, who finished in fourth place on the show last year, thought he had lost the award after spending Wednesday night partying with friends.

In a desperate plea, he tweeted on Thursday morning: "OMG lost the award ! .. great night @OfficialNTAs but gutted I lost it, please contact if you find it!"

But last night, Joey updated fans, saying: "YES the NTA has been found safe n sound now with producers! ha #Sweating great night with @imacelebrity team @ITV and Dave @neonmanagement."

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! beat Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Celebrity Juice and The Graham Norton Show to win the coveted award.

King of the Jungle Kian Egan accepted the award and made a speech, thanking everyone who worked on the show and the fans for voting him as the winner.

Joey also had a quick word, yelling his famous catchphrase, "What Are You Saying?" to the crowds.

Joey, who recently returned from Africa where he was filming a new reality show, spoke about his jungle experience on the red carpet. "I think the starvation side was the hardest," he said. "I found myself eating the skin on the fruits to try and put on weight. You'd eat anything out there."
