Alesha Dixon led the glamour parade today as the Britain's Got Talent judges headed to Cardiff for another day of auditions.

Former Mis-Teeq star Alesha, who gave birth to daughter Azura Sienna in October, looked radiant in a pink trouser suit and led the way as fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell followed behind.

Alesha and Amanda looked as stylish as ever and spent time greeting the crowds, and Simon was all smiles despite missing out on a National Television Award last night for BGT and The X Factor.

The music mogul wasn't present at the ceremony held at London's O2 Arena, but he was tweeting throughout the night as the show aired live on ITV.

Before the winner for 'Best Talent Show' was announced, Simon tweeted: "Fingers crossed."

But Simon was unlucky, as rival show Strictly Come Dancing scooped the gong, making it their second win in a row. After finding out that none of his shows had won, Simon wrote: "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo."

But it looks as though Simon, 54, didn't stay annoyed for too long, as he was pictured this afternoon sharing a private joke with David before the judges went inside to kick-start auditions.

The search to find the next big star kicked off on Saturday (18 January), when the judges headed to Belfast. Last year produced plenty of stars including Richard & Adam, Luminites and the show's winners, Attraction, so we can't wait to see what talent the judges find this year!

Meanwhile, BGT hosts Ant and Dec returned to work today after scooping up gongs at the NTAs for 'Best Entertainment Presenter', and a special Landmark Award for their 25-year career.

As the duo collected their award, they took a selfie on stage and Ant declared: "Simon, we're going to be late tomorrow, we're going to be late!"

This morning, the official BGT Twitter account said that the Geordie duo arrived later than Simon to the auditions - well, they did warn him!
