The model conquered her fears on Tom Daley's celebrity diving competition by taking on the forward pike fall from five metres during the third heat on Saturday (18 January).
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine this morning (20 January), Danielle said: "My whole body is battered and bruised. I'm totally in shock. Obviously I've just had a baby not long ago as well and so I've had a rough ride, but I've really enjoyed every minute.
"I thought I was going on holiday, I was ready to book the next day!"
Mum-of-three Danielle, who admitted to still being "strapped up", showed off the extent of the bruises on her body in photos posted to Instagram last week.
"I've had no diving experience whatsoever and I'm terrified of heights" she continued. "It's helped me overcome my fears of heights."
On Saturday, TOWIE star Dan Osborne automatically made it through from a combination of the judges' scores and the public vote leaving Danielle in the splash-off with MP Penny Mordaunt. But Danielle's final dive led the judges to unanimously vote her through to the next stage.
Danielle will now be getting in plenty of practice for the next round, but she revealed that she's not too keen on doing the 10 metre dive.
"They might try but I think someone would have to push me off," she added.
Danielle and Dan join TV presenter Michaela Strachan, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely, Boyzone singer Keith Duffy and children's TV presenter Anna Williamson in the semi-finals.
After leaving the ITV studios, Danielle told fans on Instagram: "On route home to see my hubby & babies been a tough few days."
