The 43-year-old is replacing Jessie J as a coach alongside Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and newcomer Ricky Wilson, who is taking over from former coach Danny O'Donoghue.
But Kylie tells us that she needed a lot of persuading from a fellow judge to join the BBC hit show.
"The producers kept asking me and I said, 'No, no, no, no, no'!" Kylie says.
"Then I decided to have a meeting with them in Los Angeles, and a certain will.i.am was at the meeting. He made it real for me."
Turning to her colleagues, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones, Kylie says: "I've watched two seasons where you guys have done all the groundwork.
"My only question to will was, 'How did you find the experience?' He said that he loved it and he learnt new stuff about himself through it.
"I still very much needed persuading but then I thought, I haven't had this experience before, so lets give it a try."
Kylie may have been hesitant, but during the auditions it's clear she's enjoying herself, dancing and singing along with audience members on stage between takes.
But is entering The Voice UK something she would do herself had she not achieved such fame?
Pausing for a few second, Kylie then answers: "Honestly? I don't know… maybe. Looking back, I've done a lot of things that would surprise even myself."
