Olympic diver and ITV's Splash! coach Tom uploaded a couple of images of himself at the famous landmark on Thursday morning (2 January) and, although Dustin wasn't seen in the photos, the screenwriter alluded in a tweet at the very same time he was at the very same monument.
Feeling camera shy?
Tom, 19, posed solo for one picture uploaded to Instagram and then alongside two friends for another, while Dustin, 39, appeared to stay away from the limelight, instead posting a landscape photo of Stonehenge to his Facebook.
The rumoured couple spent Christmas on opposite sides of the Atlantic but Dustin hinted at a New Year reunion in the UK when he tweeted a picture of his Union Jack sock-clad feet on 29 December alongside the caption: "Time to fly. Lucky socks on? Check." That prompted plenty of speculation he was jetting in to see a certain Brit!
Tom and Dustin, who won an Oscar for writing the Milk screenplay, have not commented on the widespread reports they are dating, although they have been pictured together at Tom's diving training centre in Houston, Texas and on Christmas Day they each tweeted pictures of matching gifts: a pair of rainbow socks.
Olympic medalist Tom told his Twitter followers that his loved ones had embraced a rainbow theme for Christmas after his YouTube revelation at the start of December that he's in a relationship with another man.
One such gift was a rainbow-patterned apron emblazoned with the words 'Gay Icon'. And, as a treat to fans, Tom stripped off to pose in the apron, his socks and not much else!
Meanwhile, Tom's already hectic schedule will step up a notch this weekend when the second series of Splash! starts on ITV on Saturday, 4 January. Once again, he will coach a group of celebrities in the art of diving before they perform their moves in front of millions.
He recently admitted he was really impressed by how well this year's group is doing, adding that he "massively admires" their courage at just going for it.
"Even if a dive goes wrong they want to do it again. The talent in this series has been incredible," he said. "Some of the celebrities are progressing so much more quickly than they did last year. After just two days of training all of them (were) further ahead than the guys were last year after three weeks."
Celebrities confirmed for the first heat include TOWIE's Gemma Collins, Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna and Diversity star Perri Kiely. Other famous faces who will compete later in the series include TOWIE heartthrob Dan Osborne and model Danielle Lloyd.
