Nicole Scherzinger has left the UK for Los Angeles following the X Factor series finale.

The former Pussycat Doll was snapped wearing a black coat at LAX Airport on Tuesday afternoon (17 December), following a long-haul flight from Heathrow.

Nicole is thought to be spending Christmas with her family in sunny LA. Lucky for some!

The gorgeous singer jetted out of the UK two days after the tenth series of The X Factor wrapped with former prison officer Sam Bailey beating student Nicholas McDonald to the recording contract prize and chance to support Beyonce on tour.

The night before her flight, Nicole was seen leaving a Camden restaurant where she'd thrown a private wrap party for close members of her X Factor team.

She actually wore the same coat that night she was sporting at the airport. Well, the practical side of us does reckon it would probably take up a lot of room in her suitcase.

Nicole sent season's greetings to fans via Instagram.

Before heading to Heathrow, the 'Boomerang' singer made sure to thank staff at her London hotel for being so welcoming during her stay and promised us although she's heading for sunnier climes for the holidays, she'll be back soon.

"Thank you #London for being #SchamazeBalls! I will miss u but will be back soon. #MerryChristmas #Godbless," she wrote, alongside a Christmassy collage of herself looking schmazing (as always).

Nicole fans are in for a treat next year as she's promised new music is coming. She's also teased she'll be making an announcement in the New Year about another very special project.
