Sam, who won this year's series on Sunday night, was booked for an interview with Radio 1 and, although it was still dark outside, she was grinning from ear to ear.
The prison officer, 36, was wearing black trousers, a cosy white jumper and a black wool cardigan as she made her way into the studios.
Sam teamed her casual outfit with a pair of chunky lace-up boots and kept her honey-blonde hair loose around her shoulders.
The mum claimed victory following a nail-biting final with teenage singer Nicholas McDonald.
Sam's winner's single 'Skyscraper' was released immediately after the show aired and she is now on course to bag the Christmas No 1.
It has also been announced that Sam will be supporting Beyoncè on part of her 'Mrs Carter World Tour'. No wonder she's looking so happy!
Following her win, Sam received a congratulatory message from X Factor honcho Simon Cowell, however she still hasn't spoken to the man in person.
She said: "I've not spoken to him directly but he's sent a congratulations tweet and he is tapping in and ringing up people and just asking how I'm doing and has said he's really happy with things. We'll meet each other soon."
