X Factor winner Sam Bailey is already at No1 in the iTunes charts, meaning she's on course to claim the top spot this Christmas!

Sam's winners' single 'Skyscraper' was released last night following her triumphant win on the ITV1 show, and copies of her debut song are selling fast.

The singer has stormed ahead past the current official UK No1, Lily Allen's cover of 'Somewhere Only We Know', and Avicii's 'Hey Brother', which charted at No 2 yesterday (15 December).

Other contenders for the Christmas No 1 spot include The Big Reunion's charity single 'Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'. That is currently sitting outside of the top 10, however.

Sam, whose single cover was shown last night following her win, has today insisted that she will not turn into a "diva".

This comes after it was announced that Sam will be supporting Beyoncè on her 'Mrs Carter World Tour'.

Speaking on ITV1's Daybreak, she said: I'm just a normal person, I don't want people to start thinking that I'm going to go off on a tandem and start being a diva because I'm not like that at all."
