The prison officer was spotted outside the BBC studios in Manchester on Wednesday morning (11 December) and was clearly in good spirits, beaming for the photographers and raising her arms in a triumphant salute.
Sam looked very stylish and chic in a cosy all-black ensemble and swoonworthy heels as she left the building following an interview on BBC Breakfast.
Sam is gearing up for the X Factor finale this weekend where she'll battle Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend for the title.
She's currently the bookies' favourite to win the prize (although she's said in the past she doesn't like being told that) and, according to The Sun, could soon be showcasing her fabulous vocals across the pond as well.
A source told the newspaper that Sharon is confident Sam can enjoy an "amazing" career in America - a notoriously hard music market to crack.
"Sharon thinks Sam could be as big as Susan Boyle around the world and is determined to help her," said the insider, who claims Sharon wants to help Sam get a US record deal and could invite her to perform on her US chatshow The Talk.
Neither Sharon nor Sam have commented yet.
Before any visits to the US, however, Sam will have to get through this weekend's final (airing Saturday and Sunday nights on ITV), singing Lady Gaga's 'Edge Of Glory' and 'Power Of Love' by Jennifer Rush.
Today is her homecoming in Leicester where she'll meet fans and perform a concert tonight.
