X Factor's latest casualty Hannah Barret has defended her former singing rival Tamera Foster after she forgot her lyrics...again.

Hannah was sent home by the judges last night (24 November) after finding herself in the bottom two with Rough Copy, but she doesn't feel any bitterness towards Tamera, who messed up her performance on Saturday.

Speaking on ITV1's Lorraine, Hannah said: "I'll say in her defence she did come in two beats earlier so she had to stop and then jump back in again.

"She gets really, really nervous and we do forget the fact that she's only 16."

Meanwhile, Hannah insisted that she has accepted being shown the door on The X Factor and is looking forward to the future.

"This was the right time for me to get kicked off… I think there might be something good for me!" she admitted.

Earlier, on Daybreak, Hannah also said: "I actually feel really good you know, obviously I'm a bit upset that I've left but I've come so far - week seven! …

"I had a feeling I would be going home because that was my third time in the bottom two, so I kind of accepted it and had fun with it.

"I'm so close to Rough Copy, them lot are like my older brothers so I thought, 'You know what? If I'm in the bottom two with anyone I'm so glad it's with Rough Copy.'"
