The Gravesend singer, 16, returned to her home county to perform in front of excited fans and switch on the lights at the shopping centre.
Wearing an on-trend tartan-style checked coat, stonewashed grey skinny jeans and plenty of chunky gold jewellery, she already looked like a star at the festive event.
Tamera joined forces with former X Factor contestant Jahméne Douglas on stage.
Jahméne was the runner-up to James Arthur on the ninth series of the talent show in 2012 and has been going from strength to strength ever since.
After the event, Jahméne showed his appreciation by tweeting: "Thanks to all the amazing people who came to the Xmas lights at @tweetbluewater was great to finally meet @OfficialTamera :-) #beauitful x"
Meanwhile, Tamera tweeted: "Had an amazing night thank you @TweetBluewater Now for a lovely meal @ @jamieolivers kitchen!"
Tamera was in the bottom two in the fourth week, along with Kingsland Road, but survived to sing again when she was saved by Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger.
