Dubbing their speedy activity as 'Super Gary-O-Kart' (a play on the popular Super Mario Kart video game), Kazeem Ajobe, Sterling Ramsey and Joey James donned their safety helmets and jumpsuits for a few laps around the go-kart track with the Gary.
The trio each put it a great effort against the Take That singer and definitely proved that they possess a strong competitive streak, which is so far serving them well on The X Factor live shows.
And they even managed to beat Mr Barlow on the track, as Joey was crowned winner!
Celebrating in extravagant style - and similar to the famous Formula 1 racing champions - Joey was seen spraying a bottle of champagne all over the go-kart grounds, as well as Gary and his Rough Copy bandmates, after he received his winner's trophy.
The three boys will be hoping to continue their winning streak on stage this weekend, as they are now the last act left in Gary's category following Kingsland Road's exit last week.
But we can't imagine Rough Copy are too nervous, since they have been flying through the competition so far and receiving huge praise from the judges, as well as viewers at home.
Speaking recently about the support Gary has shown them during their time on The X Factor, Kazeem said: "Gary has been very supportive. We have our sessions with him on a Monday and he makes sure we are comfortable with what we are singing."
He added: "He doesn't force us to sing anything we don't want to. He's very hands on. Anytime he has free he makes sure to come and help us."
A hands on mentor that likes go-karting?! Our love for Gary Barlow continues to grow.
