The award-winning songstress will reportedly perform as part of the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in 2015 aboard one of Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic spaceships! Yes, really!
As claimed by US Weekly, Gaga has already started rehearsing for the unique zero-gravity gig and will require intense vocal training to deal with the change in atmosphere.
And to ensure she still looks camera ready among the real-life stars, she is apparently taking her 'glam squad' into space with her on the shuttle too!
The eccentric 27-year-old is said to be planning to perform on the third day of the Zero G Colony festival, which is taking place at Spaceport America in New Mexico and will showcase the most cutting edge technology and entertainment.
If true, her performance will come six months after the first commercial Virgin Galactic flight.
Last night (6 November), Gaga appeared to confirm the unbelievable news by tweeting: "#GagaInSpace2015".
However, she then confused her fans by implying that the outer space performance might just be a rumour, as she added: "Find out if the rumours are true 11.10 LIVE from ARTPOP's album launch. Will #VirginGalactic+#ZeroGColony send Gaga to sing LIVE from space?"
Well, if any pop star was to sing in space, it would be Lady Gaga! We wouldn't be surprised at all if this did come to fruition.
