The teenage Celebrity Big Brother star posed for a selfie after issuing a statement via her rep on Tuesday night (5 November), confirming recent rumours that her marriage has ended.
Courtney, now 19, was just 16 when she married The Green Mile actor Doug, who was 51. They tied the knot with her parents' consent after meeting via an online acting workshop.
Her rep told the Daily Mail that Courtney and Doug are to legally separate as she wants to "explore her independence" after marrying so young.
The split was "mutual and amicable", according to a statement, which added the former couple will continue to live at the same house in different bedrooms and share custody of their dog Dourtney.
Doug will also continue to co-manage Courtney's career alongside her mother. "We will continue being the best of friends for life," said the couple.
Rumours of a rocky patch in their marriage surfaced following Courtney's stint on Celebrity Big Brother during the summer when she was accused of getting flirty with fellow housemate Mario Falcone. (She denied that.)
After leaving the house, she told host Emma Willis that she had grown up while on the show and felt more independent.
"I gained strength. That's one of the reasons why I feel more like a woman. I was independent and I feel great. My experience has been beautiful, stressful, crazy, all over the map, but at the end of the day, I'm so glad I did it. I'm very grateful and blessed."
She added: "I thought it would be a great experience and I do feel I've grown into a woman now. When I came into the house I was only 18. I have learned so much, gained so much. I didn't realise I was that strong to be in that house for three weeks. I feel more like a woman and I'm glad this was my first time out of the country. It was a great experience and I'll never forget it."
Doug had been at the house every eviction night, bringing homemade signs supporting his wife.
