Kanye West has opened up about his upcoming wedding to Kim Kardashian and claims that the couple may decide to broadcast their nuptials for fans to watch!

The superstar rapper stopped by Los Angeles-based radio station Power 106 today (28 October) and revealed that his wedding to Kim will most likely take place next summer. And we may get the chance to see it for ourselves on TV!

When asked whether the couple are thinking of broadcasting their ceremony like Kim famously did in 2011 with her wedding to basketball payer Kris Humphries, Kanye replied: "I might take money to broadcast the wedding. I would take as much [money] as possible. I was thinking about that the other day.

"Me and Kim are in the exploitation business. We get paid to exploit ourselves. If someone wants to give me $10 million [to broadcast the ceremony], I'll take it."

So, as long as there's a generous fee, we may all be invited to the KimYe wedding (in a sense) after all!

Speaking of his forthcoming nuptials, the award-winning artist then admitted that although no details are set in stone yet, he is thinking about including fighter jets in the proceedings!

"I only got two words on my mind: fighter jets..." he said.

And when pressed on whether Kim's step-dad Bruce Jenner will be walking her down the aisle, Kanye answered: "I'm not sure. All the codes, secrets, when is the wedding… hopefully it will be next summer. There's no surprises, it's like an open book for me... All I know is fighter jets, man."

Kanye proposed to the curvaceous reality star this month, on her 33rd birthday, and spared no expense for the special occasion, hiring out an entire baseball stadium in San Francisco and having an orchestra play to the couple and their family and friends while they celebrated.

But before he got down on one knee and lit up the San Francisco stadium big screen with the words "Please Marry Me', he made sure to ask Kim's mum Kris Jenner for approval.

"I called her mum that day and asked for her hand," he said. "Yeah, I was nervous."

Despite admitting that he and Kim are in the "exploitation business", the Yeezus rap star explained that the couple chose not to sell photos of their first child North earlier this year because they want North to decide whether she wants to "exploit" herself when she is old enough.

Earlier this year, rumours emerged that Kanye and Kim were contemplating selling the first pictures of North to a publication in order to raise money for charity.

However, the rapper appeared to clear up the speculation today by saying that no official offers were made to the new parents.

On the topic of North, Kanye then revealed that he had originally wanted to give his daughter just one single name.

He said: "Kim was like 'We want to have the last name West'. I wanted her name to just be North and have that as her only name. It would have had to be her last name for that to happen. But Kim was like 'You've taken it too far'."

He then added: "I think me and Kim are a perfect balance."
