Yesterday (22 October), we told how the bands from the ITV2 show had let slip on Twitter that they were busy recording a festive song for the charity Text Santa.
Now, it has been confirmed that Atomic Kitten, Blue, 5ive, B*Witched, Liberty X, 911 and Honeyz will be releasing a cover of the Wizzard hit and filming a special one-off show featuring their backstage antics in the studio.
Keavy Lynch from B*Witched said: "Back in the day we were in competition with each other this time round we get to do one big fantastic single together."
Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon added: "When we started the talks for The Big Reunion this time last year, we couldn't have imagined we'd end up recording a Text Santa Christmas single! It's all for charity and we are so humbled to be a part of it."
Jimmy Constable from 911 also commented: "Christmas is our favourite time of year. To be involved in text Santa is an amazing opportunity for which we are very lucky. But most of all raising lots of money for a great cause."
'Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' will be released on 15 December and the documentary will air around this time on ITV and ITV2.
All money raised will go to Text Santa, which this year is supporting Age UK, Barnardo's, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.
