The reality star got involved with the pastime after hearing Canadian actor Ryan Gosling was a fan of it too! Now, Proudlock calls the method of using wool or yarn to create a fabric "relaxing".
Last week, along with model Daisy Lowe, Proudlock joined a Campaign for Wool knitting class to celebrate Wool Week.
Getting to grips as a beginner, he said: "I used to think it was a really feminine hobby but if Ryan Gosling can do it, then it most definitely isn't!
"It's so social as well, you can knit and chat, knit and chat."
Judging from the photos, it seems like Proudlock was picking up the process with ease, as he showed off a navy creation that he had knitted from scratch.
After one class, the Serge DeNimes fashion designer is already thinking about how he can use his new skill to benefit his clothing empire.
"I'm thinking of bringing my first knitwear collection out next season which is a totally new thing for Serge DeNimes, it would really help if I could hand knit some prototypes," he said.
Proudlock, who is dating model Grace McGovern, also talked about his new jewellery collaboration: "I've got so much going on out of Made In Chelsea at the minute," he added.
"I've been busy sourcing new factories to manufacture my new ranges."
We wonder if Proudlock will get his best mates and co-stars Spencer Matthews, Jamie Laing and Francis Boulle to join in on some knitting fun?!
