The couple unexpectedly broke up earlier this year and, on last night's episode (16 October), fans watched as Charlie dashed any plans Ferne had for a reconciliation by admitting to her that he wasn't ready to be in a relationship again.
However, despite appearing crushed by Charlie's behaviour, the Essex-based hairdresser now seems to be moving on and has even considered going out with a couple of the other TOWIE men, such as Dan Osborne and James 'Diags' Bennewith.
During a Q&A session following last night's episode, Ferne was asked if she'd ever date her co-stars, to which she replied: "Yeah! I think Dan is incredibly good looking and I love Diags' personality. I would never rule out dating anyone from #TOWIE."
She also added that her heartache is slowly subsiding, by tweeting: "Everyday gets better and I feel stronger." She even admitted that she was ready to find a new beau.
Ferne wrote: "Definitely time for a new man, but not a new me. I am what I am and definitely would not change for any man."
Although the bubbly brunette sounds like she is getting over Charlie, she still couldn't deny the feelings she once had for him.
When one fan asked Ferne whether she would have married Charlie, she answered: "Yes! All day everyday. Without even having to think about it!"
And she may even get back together with her ex in the future - even though he admitted to cheating on her.
When asked by one follower whether the former flames might reconcile, Ferne tweeted : "Never say never. At one point I thought he was my soulmate."
Charlie's infidelity during a lads holiday in Ibiza over summer came as a shock to not only Ferne, but also TOWIE viewers.
Some fans speculated that Charlie may have been led astray by new pal (and ladies' man) Mario Falcone, but Ferne doesn't think this was the case.
She wrote to one fan last night: "I don't think Mario has influenced him. Charlie's big enough and ugly enough to make his own decisions." Ouch!
Now that she is free and single, Ferne is looking forward to spending some fun time with her fellow single girls, including Sam Faiers - despite her budding romance with TOWIE newbie Elliot Wright.
When asked if she thought Sam and Elliot would make a good couple, Ferne replied: "I think they'd make a great couple, but right now I think Sam should be single with me!"
We're guessing she needs a partner in crime!
