TOWIE's Mario Falcone and Charlie Sims may be growing tired of Essex girls, as they appear to have made a play for Made In Chelsea stars Lucy Watson and Louise Thompson.

While taking a brief break from filming their own series for ITV2, it seems Mario and Charlie decided to tune in to watch their reality TV rivals debut their new season on E4 last night (14 October).

And somehow we don't think they were just watching Made In Chelsea because they're avid viewers of the show.

Could Charlie and Mario be interested in the Chelsea girls now?

It seems Mario and Charlie were lured into changing channels by Chelsea cast members Lucy and Louise, who currently happen to be embroiled in relationship drama with their mutual ex-boyfriend Spencer Matthews.

During yesterday's season premiere, the TOWIE boys took to Twitter to express their interest in their fellow reality TV stars and we're sure it's no coincidence that the guys made their move once finding out that Louise and Lucy are now both single.

Mario wrote, "Must say @imLucyWatson is so beautiful!" to which Lucy sweetly replied, "haha thanks! Enjoy the show x".

Mario complimented Lucy over Twitter

Meanwhile, newly-single Charlie - who split from longtime girlfriend Ferne McCann this summer - made a not-so-subtle attempt to get Louise's attention by tweeting: "@LouiseAThompson look no further! #SoMyType".

However, he wasn't so lucky in getting a response. Awkward!

Lucy broke up with ex Spencer at the beginning of the summer, but last night we heard the fiesty star express that she wasn't looking for another romance just yet.

Charlie made a play for Louise

She even shut down Chelsea newcomer Freddie, who she apparently went to school with.

So does Mario stand a chance? We would love to see him try!

Oh and we're not sure whether making a play for Louise minutes after she was dumped on screen by MIC co-star Andy Jordan was that wise, Charlie. Maybe give her a day or two to get over the heartache of reliving it at least!
