The JLS star became a first-time dad earlier this year when wife Rochelle gave birth to their little girl on 20 May and he's thrilled to have such a great family life.
Speaking to Reveal, Marvin couldn't stop gushing about how having a daughter has made him more thankful.
He said: "I'm very lucky. I have an amazing wife and an amazing life. It's beautiful. We're in the best place possible.
"I've definitely become more emotional. Nothing can ever prepare you for the love that you have for your child, ever. My little girl blows my mind every single day and I hate being away from her. I'm so so lucky."
Since announcing that he and his bandmates are splitting up at the end of the year, Marvin has been pursuing a number of different career paths and has already managed to make a big impression as a radio DJ and a television presenter.
The 28-year-old has even been confirmed as the new co-host of BBC singing competition, The Voice, along with Emma Willis.
With such a busy schedule it's hardly surprising that he misses four-month-old Alaia-Mai.
However, when he is away from home, Marvin isn't calling the JLS boys round to babysit. In fact, he won't be handing his daughter over to any of them for a couple of years yet - especially not Aston!
He said: "When she's a little bit older I will let them babysit. I'm not sure they'd want to babysit her just yet.
"She'll go to uncle Aston [Merrygold] last because he's still crazy. JB and Oritsé first and Aston last."
So has all of this baby talk made bandmate Oritsé Williams want to settle down and start a family with his girlfriend AJ Azari? Not just yet!
Oritsè told Reveal: "I've always wanted kids in the future. I'm not ready yet. While me and AJ are on Stepping Out we don't have any time for that, but one day in the future."
Oritsé has been keeping occupied over the last few weeks by taking part in ITV's new celebrity dance contest, Stepping Out, with AJ.
The couple have so far received rave reviews for their performances and have breezed through to the next week of the competition.
JLS have announced their JLS Goodbye – The Greatest Hits Tour DVD, which is available to pre-order from here now.
