The former Loose Women regular – who finished fourth on CBB last week – told the Daily Star Sunday she had always wanted to live abroad.
Carol said: "Some time next year Mark and I will move to somewhere in Asia like Thailand or Malaysia. I want a nicer quality of life."
The 53-year-old told the newspaper she was happy to shy away from the limelight, adding: "I find working in this industry difficult. It's not easy for older women on TV. There's a lot of pressure."
Carol finished in fourth place on Friday night's Celebrity Big Brother summer 2013 final. Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby was first, followed by Abz Love, Lauren Harries, Carol, Mario Falcone and Vicky Entwistle.
While in the CBB house, Carol found herself with an admirer in the form of TOWIE hunk Mario, who joked that if her engagement to Mark ever ended, he'd be there for her.
Mark, however, didn't seem too bothered, telling the Sunday People: "It doesn't bother me a bit – it was just a bit of fun. She'd have enjoyed getting compliments and it would have made her feel good. And her feeling good makes me happy."
Carol and Mark have been engaged since 2009.
