Former Coronation Street actress Lucy-Jo tweeted on Monday afternoon (9 September): "Our baby girl arrived fashionably late on the 7th September. We are proud parents to Sienna-Rae Halsall. She is a dream."
Lucy-Jo's actor husband Alan, who plays Tyrone in Corrie, announced their first child's birth via Twitter over the weekend.

The proud new parents have been inundated with congratulatory messages from fans, friends and co-stars.
Lucy-Jo tweeted: "Thank you all soooooo much for your well wishes, being a mummy is the best feeling in the world I am madly in love with her."
Little Sienna-Rae kept her parents waiting, arriving into the world nine days overdue. Lucy-Jo had told fans in the week before the birth she was trying everything she could to induce labour, including long walks, hot baths and eating hot curries.
