Radio 1 DJ Fearne, who welcomed her first son Rex Rayne in February, told The Sun that she'd turned down a night out with pal Holly Willoughby as she didn't think she could "be a mum with a hangover."
Writing in her weekly column for the newspaper, mum-of-four Katie said: "Fearne Cotton reckons she's happily swapped her glamorous dresses and champagne for 'nappies and puke'.
"I'm surprised at Fearne. Of course children change your life in a massive way but I believe us mums should find time to have fun too because we only live once.
"Kids, family, work, rest and play is my motto – in that order."
Fearne, 32, recently spoke about how she's loving being a mother to son Rex, her first child with boyfriend Jesse Wood.
She told Cosmpolitan: "Having Rex has been a perspective changer and it's made me look at the industry differently. I work to live now rather than live to work. All those clichéd things have happened – I'm more overwhelmed and full of love than you can ever imagine because I've not had it before."
Fearne added: "My main priority is looking after this little man. And I feel totally over the moon that I've been able to do this."
Katie, meanwhile, gave birth to son Jett Riveria, her first child with husband Kieran Hayler, last month. She is already mum to kids Harvey, 11, Junior, 8, and 6-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
Little Jett was born prematurely while Katie was on holiday in Europe with Kieran. She was taken to hospital after her amniotic sac tore and her unborn child was left vulnerable to infection.
On 28 August, Katie tweeted to say Jett was still in the baby unit with "breathing problems".
She recently flew her mum and Kieran's mum to Europe to visit their grandchild for the first time, saying at the time: "No matter how old you are, you always need your mum near when the chips are down."
