The Girls Aloud singer's completed rose design covers her lower back and her bum and was unveiled by tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado last week, receiving mixed reactions from Cheryl's fans and fellow celebs.
Now, rapper Example (real name Elliot Gleave) has spoken on the inking too and he doesn't sound impressed at all!
During a recent interview with MTV UK, the star was shown a picture of Cheryl's tattoo and was a little lost for words.
"Wow is that real? I'm speechless," he said. "I'm not into that at all.
"I think she could have just had a little rose there [points to his side]. She just looks like some cheap wrapping paper now and the underwear's falling to pieces."
Example - who got married to model Erin McNaught earlier this year - also admitted that the Geordie songstress wouldn't be caught in his bed after he spotted her pants.
He added: "She needs some new underwear, it's coming apart at the seams a bit there… Wouldn't get into my bed."
Yesterday (27 August), Jodie Marsh weighed up the topic of Chezza's tattoo and said that having the rose design extending onto her bottom might have been one step too far.
"Her tattoo is so huge, there's no gaps and you can't see any skin at all," Jodie said.
However, Cheryl has defended her choice of extravagant body art by speaking out on Twitter.
She wrote: "People are entitled to their own opinion. Personally I've never really concerned myself with other people's body parts!
