This year's series has a new judging line-up with the addition of Sharon Osbourne

This year, as the talent series marks its 10th year on our screens, hopefuls will be shown first having a face-to-face audition with judges Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.

Providing the contestant receives three 'yes' votes, they will then go through to the next round - a performance in front of 4,000 audience members at Wembley Arena.

If they manage to impress, they then go to bootcamp. Exciting!

A statement from the X Factor team reads: "To celebrate the 10th series of The Greatest Show on Television (you know it's true) and to make it more exciting for you all at home we have made a few nifty changes.

The X Factor returns 31 August 2013

"First up, the room is BACK as part of our brand new X Factor double-whammy audition weekends.

"That's right, budding hopefuls will be doing their best to impress the judges in a face-to-face, eyeball-to-eyeball audition. It's going to be intense, emotional, highly-charged and just plain scary – and the contestants will need to receive at least three 'yeses', before they can get through to the next round.

"If they do, then they'll face a slightly larger audience. 4,000 to be exact, at London's Wembley arena where they could become one of the lucky ones to make it through to Bootcamp."
