The 'Come & Get It' singer launched her world tour in Vancouver, Canada on Wednesday night (14 August) looking typically gorgeous in four stunning outfits.
Selena, 21, opened her concert at the Rogers Arena with the track 'Bang Bang Bang' from 2011 album When The Sun Goes On before treating the audience to a show that included 'Natural', 'Who Says' and new track 'Birthday'.
The former Wizards of Waverly Place star had admitted to MTV News before the tour she was "nervous" about her dancing, but she needn't have worried as she received an amazing reaction from the crowd.
She said before the show: "I think the dancing is what I'm most nervous about because I'm such a perfectionist. And two of my best friends are actually on that stage with me that are dancers and have been dancing for years so I want to keep up with them and that's been something that's been challenging. It's great and I feel like I've been working out, which I feel I need to do more of."
Selena kept the energy levels up throughout the show - despite going for a mammoth bike ride through the country before it began. She Instagrammed a picture of herself beside a picturesque lake, saying: "Biked 9 miles today. Not sure what I was thinking considering tonight is my first show. It was completely worth it."
Tweeting after her opening show, she said: "Vancouver!! We had FUN! Can't thank y'all enough for an AMAZING 1st show!!"
Selena will bring her 56-city tour to the UK in September, playing two shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
