Cheryl, 30, had flown across the Atlantic on a Virgin flight and arrived to face the cameras in an all-black ensemble.
The Girls Aloud star, who frequently travels to the US city, wore her brunette hair loose and covered up her jet-lagged peepers with a pair of oversized black sunglasses.
She was also wearing a light-weight black vest top, comfy elasticated trousers and a funky black leather jacket with cropped sleeves. She completed her look with little ankle boots.
Climbing into the back of a waiting car, Cheryl gave photographers a glimpse of her giant back tattoo through a sheer panel in her vest.
Singer Cheryl unveiled her huge roses tattoo during the Girls Aloud 'TEN' reunion tour earlier this year, and she later admitted it was "painful" and took 15 hours to do.
Cheryl - who is dating backing dancer Tre Holloway - packed around five suitcases for her latest trip to the States, hinting that she is going to be there for a while.
The star, however, has remained tight-lipped about her visit and has not mentioned it on her Twitter profile page.
This is the first public sighting of Cheryl since her 30th birthday in June, which she celebrated with Tre and her BFFs, Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
