Demi Lovato, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony got together last night (11 August) at the Teen Choice Awards to form one hell of a supergroup!

'Skyscraper' singer Demi gathered backstage with British girl group Little Mix and American girl group Fifth Harmony to pose for a photo, and the girls all have one thing in common - The X Factor!

Little Mix rose to fame on X Factor in the UK after winning the show in 2011 and have taken the US by storm in recent months. Meanwhile Demi is a judge on US X Factor, and Fifth Harmony - who will be touring with another X Factor alumni Cher Lloyd in September - finished in third place on the same US show last year.

Demi, who posted the photo to Twitter, said: "Me with Little Mix and Fifth Harmony!!! XfactorGIRLPOWER." If they did join forces, we'd reckon they'd be one pretty cool super girl group!

The experience left Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall pretty starstruck though, after she tweeted: "Teen awards was such an incredible experience! Starstruck by Demi Lovato hehe <3 xxjade."

Little Mix added: "@ddlovato @fifthharmony loved meeting you girls, you're all so lovely! Xxx."

We're pretty sure Demi was just as excited to meet Little Mix though, as she is a certified fan of the girl group. She told Capital FM back in May: "They have incredible vocals, they're super talented. Little Mix, I think they're really going to blow up."

Demi bagged two awards at last night's bash held in California. She won Best Female Artist and Best Single for 'Heart Attack' and later treated fans to a performance of 'Made In The USA' where she brought out her close friend Nick Jonas on stage.

She later tweeted: "Thank you guys so much for the Teen Choice Awards!!!! Love you all sooooo much!!!"

It turns out the 20-year-old was doing plenty of mingling backstage, as she also bumped into Ed Sheeran! This time Ed shared the snap on his Twitter account saying, "@ddlovato lovely to meet ya!" Demi replied: "@edsheeran you too!!!! You're awesome!!!"
