James Arthur has revealed his new single will be called 'You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You'.

The X Factor winner made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon (7 August), saying he's "so excited" to be able to share the news.

James jokingly said "at last" when confirming the news, referring to the long wait between his last song, 'Impossible', and his latest effort. He had teased an imminent announcement last week when he shared a YouTube video of himself in the recording studio.

No other details have been released yet but at least we now know what the next single will be! He first performed the track at the North East Live concert earlier this year.

It's enough to get his fans excited. One tweeted: "Yes! Unbelievably excited to hear this." Another said: "Yaaaay! Can't wait to hear the studio version. It was SO good at #NEL!"

James won the ninth series of the X Factor last December. He was mentored to victory by Nicole Scherzinger.

His winners' single 'Impossible' – a cover of the Shontelle track – stormed into the charts at number one and sold more than one million copies, making it the fastest selling X Factor single so far.
