The 27-year-old actress left Cliffside Malibu Rehab Centre in California last week and is now determined to get her life back on track, starting with a guest hosting gig on E!'s Chelsea Lately this week and an upcoming Oprah special that will see Lindsay opening up about her troublesome past.
In a new trailer for the latest instalment of Oprah's Next Chapter series, Lindsay is immediately questioned about whether her controversial behaviour over the years has been due to an addiction.
Oprah directly asks the Mean Girls star: "Are you an addict?"
In a bid to build suspense, Lindsay's answer is not included in the footage, although she can be seen looking rather solemn sat opposite the famous talk show host, while wearing a bright orange dress and minimal make-up.
As the voice-over for the trailer kicks in, Oprah is then heard asking another blunt question addressing the stigma that has been attached to Lindsay for some time - that of being a child actor who went off the rails.
"What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for child star gone wrong?" Oprah boldly adds.

The interview is set to air in the States on 18 August on Oprah's OWN channel.
The channel also happens to be producing an eight-part series that will document Lindsay's road to recovery after rehab, filming her as she rebuilds her life and tries to stay sober.
